Agatha All Along Episode 6 Explained

In Agatha All Along episode 6, we finally get to see the story of Billy, also known as Wiccan. The episode explains how Billy ended up in his current form and why things have turned out the way they have. If you thought this was the same Billy who just grew up fast, you’re wrong. When the Hex that Wanda created disappeared, Billy and Tommy were also gone, but somehow, Billy survived.

The character we've been calling “The Teen” is actually Billy Maximoff, Wanda’s son, but in a new body. His new name is William Kaplan, and there’s been a lot of talk online about how this character is played by an actor who is not Jewish, which caused some controversy. But back to the story—this episode shows that Billy’s soul somehow found its way into a new body after the events with the Hex.

In one important scene, Billy meets someone named Lilia, who tries to read his future by looking at the lines on his palm. She realizes that Billy’s life is going to split into two parts, and when she looks deeper, she sees his image not as William Kaplan, but as Billy Maximoff. This shows that Billy’s future is tied to both identities, and it creates some mystery about what will happen next.

As the episode continues, we learn that Billy doesn’t remember his past as Wanda’s son. He doesn’t have any memories of his time in the Hex or his previous life. Even though his soul is in William Kaplan’s body, he’s confused about who he really is.

A lot of things happen in this episode, like how Billy’s mom and dad were in a car crash, which led to his reincarnation. The crash is connected to the effects of Wanda’s Hex, but the details are not fully explained. What we do know is that after the Hex was removed, Billy and Tommy’s souls left their bodies and ended up in new ones. Billy’s soul went into William Kaplan, giving him a second chance at life.

In the comics, a similar thing happens. Wanda creates her two sons, Billy and Tommy, using magic, but later she realizes they aren’t really hers. Their souls belong to Mephisto, who takes them back, causing Wanda a lot of pain. However, the souls eventually find new bodies, which is how Billy and Tommy come back.

In the show, William Kaplan is the new body for Billy Maximoff, but Billy has no memory of his old life. He’s just a teenager trying to figure out his identity. As the story unfolds, we see how magic plays a big role in his life, even though he doesn’t fully understand it yet.

Billy’s room is filled with posters of magical and fantasy movies like Alice in Wonderland and The Wizard of Oz . These posters hint that Billy has always been fascinated by magic and fantasy worlds. This fits well with his current life, as he is now living in a world filled with magic.

There’s also a new character introduced in this episode named Eddie, who is Billy’s boyfriend. In the comics, Eddie is known as Hulkling, and while his name might suggest he’s related to the Hulk, he’s actually the child of a Kree and a Skrull. He’s very powerful, and his relationship with Billy is important in the comics.

As the episode goes on, we see how Billy’s personality has changed. He used to be interested in lighthearted magic, but now his room is decorated with darker themes. He still loves magic, but he’s become more gothic and mysterious. This shows how much he has been affected by the events in his life.

By the end of the episode, Billy goes to Westview, where he meets Agatha. He steals something from her, which leads to an interesting conversation between the two. Agatha reveals that Billy and his mother share some similar traits, but Billy seems disconnected from his past. He’s not there to bring Wanda back, and in fact, he might not even like her after everything that happened with the Hex. His main goal now is to find his brother Tommy, who he has sensed but can’t locate.

In the comics, Wiccan (Billy) and Speed (Tommy) have a strong connection, and it’s clear that Billy’s current mission is to save his brother. However, Billy is still struggling with controlling his powers, and it’s likely that as the season progresses, he’ll learn how to master them.

Overall, episode 6 of  Agatha All Along was packed with information. It gave us a lot of background on Billy and explained how he came back to life. The episode may have felt like it was dumping a lot of information at once, but it sets up the next part of the season, where we’ll hopefully learn more about Billy’s powers and what his future holds.

Fans are looking forward to seeing how the show will wrap up Billy’s story and what new trials await him in the upcoming episodes.
